Do You THINK INSIDE or OUTSIDE the BOX

I have always heard the expression think outside the box. I want to refute that because I always am curious what’s in the box to use. My plead is think inside the box. So guessing that this is sort of my way of thinking. But, yes I can understand that we want to bring new things to the table. Is the box not carrying what we already need, we also can’t fix what isn’t broke. Really what’s the best way to look at it.  Isn’t this a twist to argue on.
